An alternate explanation for the expression's origin is that crocodile tears cannot be authentic because crocodiles cannot cry; they lack tear ducts. Yet this is a myth: Crocodiles possess lacrimal glands which secrete a proteinaceous fluid, just like in humans, though tears will only be visible after a crocodile is out of the water for a prolonged period of time, and dries out. However, while crocodiles can and do generate tears, they do not weep or cry for remorse.

WDULISM - Mountains, Hills, and Hillocks
Mountain is relatively steeper than a hill, but there is no universally accepted standard definition for the height of a mountain or a hill.
The distinction between a hill and a mountain is largely subjective, but a hill is generally somewhat lower and less steep than a mountain.
In the United Kingdom geographers historically regarded mountains as hills greater than 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level, which formed the basis of the plot of the 1995 film The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain.
Mountains in Scotland are frequently referred to as "hills" no matter what their height. In Wales, the distinction is more a term of land use and appearance and has nothing to do with height.
In contrast, hill walkers have tended to regard mountains as peaks 2,000 feet (610 m) above sea level. The Oxford English Dictionary also suggests a limit of 2,000 feet (610 m).
A Hillock is a small hill, usually separated from a larger group of hills such as a range. Hillocks are similar in their distribution and size to small mesas or buttes.Waterloo Belgium, Lions' Hillock.
The World's Tallest Hill is Cavanal Hill in Poteau, Oklahoma, due to its height of 1,999 feet (609 m).
Mount Everest is the World’s Highest Mountain which is 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level. The mountain, which is part of the Himalayan range in Asia, is located on the border between Sagarmatha
Zone, Nepal, and Tibet, China.
How "The Mountain View" got me thinking!
"No, no sea here... clear blue sky, gets orange-ish grey in the evening (during the sunset). No, no fog... this is Bombay for God's sake!!! People here don't even know what fog is, unless they've lived outside the city or abroad for sometime".
We were recently moved to the third floor in our office and my cabin over-looked a beautiful landscape of what can be called "landscape" in an otherwise Mumbai. Clear Blue Sky, with fluttering clouds like wisps of cotton candy on a sunny day, reminds me of the wonderful Delhi Winters (My Office is Air Conditioned), the view is mesmerizing. It is especially breathtaking during the evening with the onset of Sunset when the whole sky gets acrylic with hues of grey and orange, as if Gods were painting their imagination in bold strokes of crimson, orange and auburn. In the distance you can see the hills and... Err... Hills or Mountains? Hillocks or Plateau... suddenly my geography teacher's face came to my mind. What did she say about geological formations like these? Is this a Hill or a Mountain?
A call to the movie-crazy Sourish got me even more confused as his answer to the query was, "You should watch this Hugh Grant movie called The Englishman who went up the Hill and came down the mountain" or something like that, and promised to get me the DVD to have my second hand learning at the difference between Mountain and Hill.
So what was it that I was observing - that that Mountain looked like Hill... I didn't know.
Last night, I came up with the idea of creating a blog to acquire daily knowledge and discoveries around the world apart from my regular office work. Reason being, what will I teach my kids when I become a Mommy? I am not able to recall any informative content from my school text books. I'm ageing gradually and my mind will not work the same way as it does today, eventually. Though I have tried to remember most of the things important to me, I don't seem to have recalled that much lately. Not impressive, I would say!
It is always great talking to Sourish, and at some point during chats he says he's certain I'll be 'someone big', and thinks it's time I start doing things that I am destined to. Nice, pleasant flattery at that.
So this blog is a new venture to learn and share one interesting topic each day. It is dedicated to all the mommies, would-be-mommies, and girls-wishing-to-be-mommies in the world. I understand how hard it can be when you hear your kids scream at you, "What Did U Learn In School, Mommy!!!"
